I have no control over urine flow during bowel movement. Is this normal?

Urine flow starts without any control and cannot be stopped during bowel movement. Am I normal?I have no control over urine flow during bowel movement. Is this normal?
I've really had it with women trying to answer questions about MEN's health. The ones above all got it wrong. In male anatomy, bowel and bladder movements are often related. This is normal, and nothing to worry about, as long as you are able to aim comfortably in a sitting position!I have no control over urine flow during bowel movement. Is this normal?
It's difficult to control when you're pushing as the same muscles seem to operate closely together (much the way in that your 3rd and 4th fingers move at the same time).

I wouldn't worry about it.
u gotta see a doctor! u nidda wear diapers..
If your urine flow cannot be controled at any time I would say it's time to see your doctor. Some urine flow is normal during a bowel movement but not so bad that you can't stop it.
No - that's not normal.

It sounds to me like you need to some some Kegel exercises.

First, isolate the muscles that help you keep from peeing by practicing a bit - start to pee, and then stop. Start to pee, and then stop. Those muscles are the ones that you'll be using for this ';exercise';. Clench those muscles for a count of ten - if you can't, just work up to it, it's ok. Eventually, you'll be doing it ten times for a count of ten. Repeat it as often as you can throught the day - or, because it can be hard to remember to do them, try at night before you go to sleep and in the morning before you get out of bed. It will take about a minute or so.

If you manage to do them successfully, you should have better control over your urine flow eventually - if this isn't working after a few weeks (and you're sure that you've been doing them correctly, and you've been successful at doing them regularly!) then you should see a doctor.

And yes, you can do these even if you're a guy! Added bonus - better sex for everyone :-)

Please google ';kegel exercises'; if you need a better description of how to do them, or what they're for.
yes
I am 54. I don't remember ever having a bowel movement in my entire life when I did not also urinate (except when I had food poisoning and was exploding -- but we don't want to go there).

That being said -- I wouldn't say that I had no control whatsoever over urine flow. I am able to start it %26amp; stop it by contracting muscles.

If you have absolutely no control, you might want to see a doctor.
