What if no one gets control in November?

If the Senate becomes a 50-50 split, what will be the reprocussions? What if no one gets control in November?
tie breaker would be the VP (Cheney) for the Senate. Or some moderate like Joe Liberman or John McCain would vote across party lines to pass important stuff

But basically, neither side would do much of anything to pass laws, and then each would blame the other in hopes of winning votes for president in 08.What if no one gets control in November?
um.....perhaps some work getting done?
the democrats will have another conspiracy theory
Cheney (as VP) casts deciding vote in case of tie
If that happens and the Senate continues to vote along party lines...well then Dick Cheney will be quite busy. The VP is the tie breaking vote in the Senate and because Cheney is a Republican....well you see my point.

I can just see it now, the Senate calling Blair House, ';We need dick in the Senate right now!';
We will become a godless nation and wander in the desert of despair. Or maybe government will go on like it has for the last several hundred years.
PlayStation 3 comes out in November who cares
They would vote again.
Someone would switch parties.
a whole lot of nothing
Unfortunately Chain Gang Cheney would be around to break any party line tie vote, unless he was impeached and convicted before then. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!
On votes that split 50-50, the Vice President will cast the deciding vote.
Slightly more gridlock.
This will not happen and the dems are going to control both houses once again .
The two party system is what's wrong with American politics.
dick chenney's the tie breaker. just like in 2001/2002
