How many parents here thinks their children are out of control and misbehaving and no respect for them?Why?What kind of efforts are you taking in order to make them 'Better'?How many parents here thinks their children are out of control and misbehaving and no respect for them??

My kids are driving me cray this week and for some reason lately they think they don't have to listen to me. In order for them to listen to me I have found that I have to be really strict and not allow them to do much of anything.


It is like the old saying ';give them and inch and they will take a mile'; Yeah, mine definately do!





I try to whip them daily because I know they have done somehting bad that I just don't know about yet! jk.... That is what my husband said when we first had kids, he is all talk and never raises a hand to them. All he has to do is look at them and they start crying. It is almost funny!How many parents here thinks their children are out of control and misbehaving and no respect for them??

I wouldn't say out of control but he is starting to get a little mouthy. He just turned 12 and is starting to know everything. He doesn't listen as well as he used to (I believe cuz he knows I won't really do anything to him) and has to be told repeatedly to do chores. I ignore him when he gets mouthy and I am starting to take away things. His playstation2 and gameboy and ds go first. Then his tv and phone and not sure after that never made it that far yet
Only those rare times before my (or my husband's) hand repeatedly lands on their bare behinds :)





Then we get our angels back :)
I have respect for my child but she is out of control..well she is my step child and she is out of control and we are talking about some counseling now but until then..we are trying to communicate with her find out what is the problem..its still a work in process
to make them respectable people must start from the womd to the tomb if we try to jumin their after that fact your fighting a up hell battle and the odds are aganst u some time we have to let life teach them but thay have to go and find there way because it won't be in my house because in my house u play strickly by my rule point. happy paranting
My kids can be bad at times but it depends on whats going on around them too though. I'd say for their ages their doing what kids that age do.
My two girls are the worst. They are 7 and 3 and are so disrespectful and misbehaving at home and whenever we go out to friend's homes or on errands or wherever. But the weird thing is they're angels away from me or my husband. Like at school they are both ';student of the month';. I wish they'd behave at home too but I'm happy that they are good at school. I'd just die if their teacher called all the time about problems at school.
