Should i be nervous about having sex for the first time with protection just no birth control?

Condoms *are* actually birth control. That's why they were invented... the anti-disease thing is just a pleasant bonus. And if you use them correctly, they're quite effective at preventing pregnancy; not as good as condom + birth control pill, or anything, but many couples do rely on them for their only form of contraception.

A few tips:

1. Condom goes on *before* penis goes near vagina.

2. Condom application is practiced *before* fumbling around in the frenzy of passion in a darkened car. A banana works quite well for practice.

3. Condom is used once, withdrawn correctly, and then thrown away.

If you're still nervous, your local Planned Parenthood may be able to hook you up with some low-cost options to increase your safety.Should i be nervous about having sex for the first time with protection just no birth control?
